Stan is the OA Performance Center Manager, as well as a Performance Enhancement Specialist. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training at the University of Southern Maine and is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
A highly sought-after Athletic Trainer and Strength Coach for healthy and injured athletes alike, Stan has helped athletes at all levels - from youth sports to the professional and Olympic ranks –return from injury and achieve their highest levels of performance in a variety of sports. He has authored numerous articles on sports performance, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Additionally, Stan has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences, seminars, and local sports organizations.
Prior to his role as the Performance Center Manager for OA he worked in the OA physical therapy department for 8 years. His work encompassed the entire spectrum of athlete services, from post-surgical rehabilitation to performance based post rehabilitation training. Stan specializes in the injured throwing athlete and returning them back to competition. His knowledge of analyzing and correcting throwing mechanics has helped hundreds of athletes return to the field. Earlier in his career Stan worked for the Boston Red Sox organization as an Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach and was the Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Southern Maine
Stan leads an active lifestyle and has competed in triathlons, mixed martial arts, shooting sports, and is an avid outdoorsman.
